1) Finding a Side Hustle
Try to find something you're passionate about that can make money for you. Selling clothes on Poshmark was something that I did a lot as fashion is an interest of mine. I started off selling some of my clothes and enjoyed it so much that I started to find clothes from the warehouses, good will, and thrift stores to re-sell those for a profit. Many colleges offer jobs for students which is a good opportunity because it is pretty flexible. If you enjoy working with children you can babysit, care.com and college nannies are helpful websites for this. Whatever your interest is in, there probably is a way that you can make money off it!
2) Reduce the Amount of Times you go out to Eat
I think going out to eat is probably a significant challenge for college students because it's often a social activity. Instead of going out to eat, consider cooking dinner with you friends or roommates.
3) Create a Budget (and follow it!)
Budgeting lets you know where all of your money is going and helps you organize spending. Before the quarter or semester starts, decide how much money you want to allocate to spending expenses each month.
